Quick Page Death Battle - Lux vs Marisa

A blonde witch whistled as walked throughout the forest. Despite the nightly feature of the place, the witch wasn't scared at all. This dark and spooky forest? Only normal humans would be. And maybe the cowardly fairy. She's a magician, a great and powerful magician in fact, so she wasn't easily scared by this. Her current goal was the riverside. Someone had stolen her signature move. And she was going to beat em up for doing such a thing. That was her style after all.

Said magician on the edge of a riverside only waited. The issue of challenge was sent to her as a letter. A challenge and a threat of this 'black and white witch stealing the large majority of her items. Usually such a letter would be discarded, which she did, until she received three more and a discovery that someone actually stole some of her belongings. Minor things but the letter said it was only going to get worse if she doesn't accept the duel. As a powerful high tier mid laner, she was here to punish this criminal!

Now the meeting was set. Here she was, Luxanna Crownguard of Demacia, standing on the blue side of the map. Holding out her scepter and sporting the Rabadon's Deathcap, she stood waiting.

And the black white witch stopped right at the opposite edge of the river. Sporting a broom and a strange octagonal device, Kirisame Marisa waved at her opponent with a grin.

Lux returned a smile. Then they raised both their weapons.

Lux started the Death Battle. Swinging her staff forward she released a projectile of light that homed in on Marisa. The Black White witch only hopped to the side ready for a counter attack. Only to realize the orb followed her position. Reacting quickly she aimed the mini-hakkero and fired. A single green bolt of energy shot out and collided with the light orb causing both to explode in a small flash.

That was the start of the battle and Marisa knew it. So she raised a card.

The card disappeared and she adjusted her mini-hakkero at Lux who was running towards the nearby bushes. The witch charged it, and fired! A volley of vastly colored stars shot out of the wooden octagon. The wide array of attacks were like fireworks, a beautiful view. And also dangerous. Only an idiot would watch the attack in awe as it came for them.

Lux wasn't one. She dodged the first volley which had a large scatter range, but there was another volley. It would be impossibly to dodge it. So the light magician swung her arm to the side tossing away her staff. Just as the projectiles reached her a shield manifested out of nowhere. The attacks that struck didn't deal any damage to her.

Marisa whistled. "Wow, shields. That's pretty cheap-ze," again she fired another barrage but the shield held firm. Just when it wavered, the staff returned and formed another shield.

Taking the offensive Lux swung her staff. Three glowing orbs shot out forward with the middle one heading for Marisa. The witch easily sidestepped and pulled out something from her hat.

In a quick motion and display of strength, she tossed out a bottle like object towards Lux. Quite fast, but the sorceress shot it in midair with a single projectile. The explosive potion not even reaching her. The blast however did provide a dust cloud. A dust cloud that one could use to get close.

Seizing the advantage, Marisa pulled out her broom ready to fly. And with a boost she dashed through the cloud, past the bush and straight into  three glowing orbs. The one she struck exploded with a blast releasing light and energy. When Marisa recovered she realized that she couldn't move from her position.

On one side of the river near the dragon pit Lux smiled at the hit and swung her scepter forward. This time she released an anomaly of twisted light and then a homing burst. It landed close to Marisa just as the rooting light disappeared. 

"Yikes!" Despite flying backwards with her broom, she was hit by the blast of light. And a light projectile. Although knocked back, she recovered and began firing again. This time shooting out green bursts of energy towards Lux. The shield negated the damage she was doing. "That shield is annoying.."

"With your power level, I suggest forfeiting!" Lux taunted as she raised her staff forward. The scepter floated in front of her and began to float, just as a faint red line shot out. It went through Marisa's body, startling her. Strangely it didn't harm her. Marisa would've retaliated when she noticed her opponent's scepter glow. Then she discovered what that glow as.

"Demacia!"

A massive beam of light shot out. So fast and nearly instantaneous, the only reason why Marisa dodged it was because she rolled away beforehand. Her broom's tip might've caught on fire but she was already putting it out.

"Hey! That's my move!" Marisa called out angrily. Only to focus on dodging when three more spheres shot at her. "Ugh, how annoying."

This continued on for a bit. Lux would toss out a barrage of projectiles at her opponent, and the witch would dodge. Marisa would retaliate with her own projectiles but the shield would block most of them. Her attempts to get close were thwarthed by a lucky hit or a blast of light. There was no progress for the black and white thief. While her enemy was slowly whittling her health. That simply won't do.

Marisa slowed to a stop and readied her hakkero. She sidestepped a projectile of light and pointed her octagon forward. She began to gather energy, silently chanting. She ignored the projectiles that hit her

Lux only ceased attacking. Curiously she watched her opponent. She was holding that wooden weapon but seemed to be charging up. Was this another ability? Or her ult? Well regardless she should be ready-

A brilliant rainbow like beam of death launched out of Marisa's hakkero. So fast and sudden, the beam was going to envelop Lux in a brilliant death. Her shield wouldn't have survived that at all seeing as it was a bit different from her own ult. Good thing she had flash.

Seemingly teleporting a short distance, Lux tumbled out of the attack. She could only watch in awe at how the beam charged. In a few seconds however the beam quickly faded, not leaving time for retaliation. The giant beam of death had torn apart the nearby trees making a nice path. It might've even torn up red buff. Looking back at the black and white witch with the same gape, she frowned when the witch showed a smug smile.

Well, if she was going to bring in the big guns she better use her own too. Lux pulled out a strange necklace and a pink elixir. She placed the necklace around her neck and began drinking the pink elixir. Shortly after, a blue veil surrounded Lux and a short pink flash.  Her opponent seemed to look at it in an interested fashion, before suddenly jumping to her broom and riding straight towards her.

Lux tossed away the Elixir of Sorcery and tossed another anomaly of light. It landed right in front of her making her opponent slow down. Only for her to soar upwards and shoot out two lasers from her hands! Barely blocked by her shield, Lux followed up by tossing out another trio of light binding, only for the witch to dodge them.

Marisa landed in front of her. She swung her broom hitting Lux, only to find her whole body slowing down. Suddenly she began to feel exhausted for no apparent reason. But the glowing aura around her might've been the cause of that. A Light binding impacted her, releasing more of those orbs. Again she was rooted. Marisa could only slowly look up as Lux backed away slowly charging her scepter. She was not going to miss this ult. Good thing she could counter this.

"Demacia!" Lux's scepter spun.

"Spell card!" Marisa raised her hakkero.

Two massive beams of light shot out of their weapons. Both collided in front of them and continued on like that. It was a tie between the massive beams of death. Lux would've kept on going till she noticed something near her side. Marisa had moved away from behind the beam she was shooting at and was now near her. And her hakkero was glowing again.

Another Master Spark shot out of the hakkero. This time, the second one enveloped Lux before she could react. The blue cloak around her vanished as she was consumed by the power of Love. Her Final Spark too ended and the first Master Spark enveloped her body. In a few seconds of that, and a large group of trees being destroyed, Marisa cancelled her attack. With a grin she lowered her hakkero, only to frownwhen she saw something glowing in front of her.

It was a statue. A golden statue. Exactly the same as her opponent, size and everything. Even the same stance she had. Then the statue turned human and grinned at her.

"Banshee's Veil and Zhonya's hourglass," Lux said as she raised her scepter. This time she tossed another anomaly of light while casting a shield on her. Marisa only leaped to the sides and raised her hakkero forward. A barrage of stars shooting out. They would've downed Lux's shield if her anomaly of light didn't explode and-

"What the!?" Marisa could only look in surprise as multiple light bindings scattered from the explosion. She barely grazed the ones heading towards her. Just as she prepared to retaliate, she hopped back and began running around as more light bindings scattered. "Hey! Let me get to the skies at least-ze!"

Lux was tossing out more and more of the Singularities. More and more light bindings were exploding everywhere. Marisa might've been a skilled grazer but this was getting too difficult. Her opponent was leaving no room to dodge at all, on purpose! And that's not what danmaku is about! Marisa was hit. Up in the sky, she was hit by multiple light bindings coming from everywhere. And they hurt! But she was going to live. When the bindings stopped hitting her, she saw a familiar line. The familiar line of the Final Spark. Only to see more of these lines coming.

Lux was going to use the multidirectional Final Spark. And it was just about to shoot out when the ability binding Marisa faded. With a scowl she pulled out her hakkero...

"In the name of Demacia, I'll punish you! DEMACIA!"

All the beams shot out and easily devoured Marisa. The witch was enveloped in a flash. The multiple Final Sparks continued on even slightly moving. There was no way for her to avoid this attac- In a second she blinked.. What?

Her opponent was moving. She was moving on her broom riding it as if she was surfing it. But the most shocking factor, she was using her hakkero to shoot out a giant beam- her own brand of Final Spark on that Broom. She was using a Beam to propel herself forward. A small card could be seen on her hand fading away. Alongside that wide grin. She wasn't even afraid of being so close to her ult.

Lux tried to run but she couldn't. Marisa was too fast. The witch collided with her broomfirst, already breaking the shield she casted and knocking her breathe out. And slowly they moved upwards. Before she even knew it, Lux was being propelled upwards to the sky too having been pulled int o the ride. And to her surprise, her opponent jumped off the broom when they were reaching the skies. Only to be surprised even more when her opponent to began levitating away from her and pulling out the hakkero. The broom that was lifting her was beginning to slow down, and fall away from her. And gravity slowly began to take over.

And Lux began to fall.

Straight towards Marisa who was chanting again. And her hakkero was fully charged up.

Marisa grinned. Her Hakkero shone brightly.

 

Compared to before, the laser that shot out was humongous. And there was no saving Lux. The giant rainbow beam devoured her. The massive beam of death shot through the sky and might have reached space before stopping. There was no trace of Lux

Marisa grinned as she floated down. Her broom falling close nearby. On her hands were a scepter and a pink undergarment. She grinned. "Hehe I win! And I stole the precious thing-ze!"
